When embarking on a capital project, mission-driven organizations need more from an owner’s representative than simply design and project management.
You need a partner who cares about your mission, is capable of involving diverse stakeholder groups and is aware of the multitude of issues that are impacting your organization and the project.
Our experience working with service organizations including the Chicago Botanic Garden, Joffrey Ballet, and the University of Chicago brings a deep understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges that these institutions face when embarking on a capital project.
Your project is more than blueprints and hard hats… it’s a vision for the future that requires the enthusiasm of stakeholders and constituencies. Fundraising is often critical, as is collaboration and accountability among the building team to optimize project quality, budget and schedule.
As your representative, S Projects provides engaged leadership and strong project management so that you can focus on the critical day-to-day of your work.
Whether new construction, renovation, or repositioning, our collaborative, communicative, client-centered approach successfully transforms your goals into reality.
We’d love to learn more about your project.
Todd Stevens, aia, leed ap
Todd founded S Projects to pursue his passion for supporting mission-driven organizations as they navigate the often unfamiliar territory of capital improvements.
He understands the complexity of building projects intimately, drawing from his life-long immersion in the industry, working in his father’s construction firm through college and then for more than 20 years as an architect responsible for a breadth of different project types.
As an owner’s representative to non-profits and service institutions, Todd is committed to providing design, technical and project management consulting that prioritizes quality without compromising schedule and budget management. His collaborative approach reaches beyond typical building sensitivities to fully integrate client-specific priorities such as stakeholder involvement, fundraising and user engagement.
